Astralite, otherwise known as Carborundum is a man-made crystal that demonstrates the beauty that we have as humans to create. It is said to represent stress relief, purification of negativity, and helping control our tempers. (Goodness knows we could all use that from time to time). However, when I worked with it myself, I kept getting the feeling of awe that creation, art, and science can be so interwoven and it inspired me to pick up a personal creative project I’ve been putting off. Its beauty and complexity reignited my drive to create. For me, this stone gives off a beautiful artistic energy.
